The SWE audience is almost completely silent in the arena. Quiet rumblings can be heard from the crowd, and every so often a classic Ric Flair “WOO” can be heard. Suddenly, the lights in the arena go out, and a countdown timer starts to, literally, countdown from 6.29. The background is blue and features a white grid, and a word that reads “JERICHO” is above the countdown clock. Once the clock hits 0, everything is balled up and this newly formed ball begins to travel throughout a blue, gridded tube. After a few moments, the titantron goes completely black and, simultaneously, a large array of pyrotechnics goes off at the top of the ramp.
The crowd erupts in a flurry of cheers as, once the lights come back on and “Break Down the Walls” by Sevendust begins to play, they can see Chris Jericho standing at the top of the ramp, as multicoloured lights begin to circle around the arena. Two white spotlights are fixated on Chris Jericho, who is sporting his patented black suit with a white undershirt, and a dark blue tie. A smirk grows on Chris’ face as he begins to walk down the entrance ramp. Once Chris reaches the bottom of the ramp, he turns and walks over to the steel steps and climbs up them before climbing into the ring.
Chris walks to the side of the ring nearest the camera and looks out into the crowd for a few moments before grabbing a microphone from one of the ring crew members. The standing ovation continues as Chris looks out into the crowd after his theme song has faded away. Chris brings the microphone up to his lips, but this entices the crowd to cheer even louder. Chris smiles and shrugs at some of the ring crew after bringing his microphone back down. Chris unlatches the currently vacant Tag Team Championship from his waist and holds it up into the air with his free arm for a few moments. After he brings his arm down and puts his title on his shoulder, he brings the microphone up to his lips and speaks over the electric crowd.
CHRIS JERICHO. --thebestintheworldtoday. Ladies and gentlemen, this Sunday I get the chance to win back the championship that I put on the map; a championship that I will initially win by beating the very best in SWE.D-generation-X;a title that I have never lost before, the Tag Team Championship. Before I demolished ECW,Smackdown and WCW, I made an illustrious, prestigious, untouchable name for myself on RAW as the man to beat. I was the man that everybody went to RAW to try to dethrone, I, plain and simply, was the man on RAW. Then, I took a break from wrestling, and I returned and was one week away from becoming the man again, but WWE soon after closed its doors.
This caused some of the crowd to start cheering, but the majority of them were still booing for Chris Jericho.
.CHRIS JERICHO. --thebestintheworldtoday. A few months later, the ever hypocritical co-owner of WWE: Resurrection, Eric Bischoff tried to open the WWE back up, and I was on his brand, where I reclaimed my spot in WWE as the man, by winning the World Heavyweight Championship. This is where the storied history of the Chris Jericho saga begins, as I, the best in the world today at what I do, brought in a group to abolish the New World Order, called Dissident Movement. We were successful in doing so, but we disbanded after I disappeared from WWE. From that, Chuck Taylor got lucky and beat me, taking my Championship away from me, which would then become the Tag Team Championship just before WWE closed its doors.
Chris paused for a moment to readjust (self-proclaimed) Tag Team Title on his shoulder. Chris then began to walk around the ring as he started to get worked up about what he was speaking about.
CHRIS JERICHO. --thebestintheworldtoday. This is when the lunacy of such characters as DX and John Cena began. The first heinous act that DX committed, as far as I know, was saying that they were better than me.Cena who also claimed the same thing then took my Championship away from me again like he always does because he cannot get out of the spotlight. Then came Edge.
Edge continued trying to seize the opportunity that was so often put before him, but he just couldn’t capitalize on the situation, and he still can’t, and never will become Champion as long as i can still walk. Even when I wasn’t in the WWE, he just couldn’t win the championship, no matter how hard he tried, and no matter how much he tortured his foes
Once I returned and won the World Championship, I began to combat this iron fist that DX and Cena and of course Edge thought they had hung over the WWE, and ever since, he has been trying to get the advantage over me, but it hasn’t worked. It doesn’t matter how much trauma they put me in, I keep conquering this colossal obstacle, and I walked out every time with my World Championship still around my waist.
Chris Jericho takes a break again as the crowd erupts with a plethora of cheers and boo's for him, and another standing ovation ensues when Chris raises his so called championship belt into the air again. After about a minute or so, and after Chris put his so called Title back on his shoulder, the crowd begins to settle down.
.CHRIS JERICHO. --thebestintheworldtoday. I know that I struck a nerve with you guys, when I told you backstage that you can’t win without assistance, other than your obvious fluke win over me and Big Show and even Randy Orton, but I don’t give a damn. Do you understand? I don’t give a damn. As far as I’m concerned, you are a gelatinous, parasitic sycophant, and you deserve to be beaten once more, and that will happen. Time and time again I have used my immense intelligence and my guile to succumb any and everything that you have thrown at me. I assure everybody in this arena and everybody watching there pathetic, desolate, fraudulent life. I plan on wiping that smarmy little mealy mouthed look off your face tonight, and I will walk out with the SWE Tag Team Championship.
DX, something you can’t comprehend is that you have won your championships through politicking, and being in the right place at the right time. Every championship that I have ever won, is because of my skill; because of my courage; because of my conviction. I have earned every championship that I have ever won, but you; you scurry off to other brands and desecrate midgets to win titles. DX, unlike you, I have dignity, I have integrity, and I have the conviction and the bravery to defeat you, and walk out of the arena with the Tag Team Championship. So why dont you just run along so that i can get back to doing my job and winning once and a while ok.
With that, “Break Down the Walls” begins to blast throughout the arena again. The crowd continues to boo Chris Jericho as he drops the microphone down to the mat below him and climbs out of the ring. Chris walks down the steel steps, holding his so called Tag Team Championship with his right hand and begins to walk up the entrance ramp. Upon reaching the top of the ramp, Chris turns around and holds the Tag Team Championship up in the air for a few moments, allowing the crowd to cheer even more for him. He lowers his arm and walks to the backstage area.
